The Tori Tory Toré Setup

TORI! TORY! TORÉ! is an intimate, outdoor, yakitori dining experience centered around the grill master and the shichirin, which is a traditional, portable, table-top grill used in Japan to prepare yakitori. The human senses are heightened when one can see, smell, hear, touch and ultimately taste the food. Depending on the number of guests, the diagrams below are optimal configurations for the yakitori tasting. Indoor grilling is unfortunately, not advised due to carbon monoxide emissions from live, hot, binchotan charcoal. Should cold, rainy weather be a factor, the dining situation can take place indoors, with TORI! TORY! TORÉ! preparing the food outdoors.

Additional Setup Info

TORI! TORY! TORÉ! is a private pop-up event that “pops up” at a host’s house and produces the event in the host’s outdoor space. Existing furniture or equipment rental is required in order for the dinner to take place, as we do not provide event rentals.

Once an event date is booked and confirmed, we will set up a video call to do a visual scouting of the host’s outdoor and kitchen space to discuss event logistics. The video call will take no more than 10 minutes of your time!
